Prism Desktop 0.5.51: a real calendar

This version shipped on 26 September 2026. These notes were written up on 27 September 2026.

Prism Desktop 0.5.51 turns the calendar into a real calendar.

What changed

  • Four views. Day, week, month and agenda, across all your synced calendars, with a colour and an on/off switch for each calendar.
  • Event details. Location, a Join button for the meeting link, guests and their answers, and local reminders.
  • Turn it on where you are. The calendar can be enabled from the calendar and from meeting notes, with its sync state and a Reconnect button.
  • Editing only when you allow it. Changing events needs a separate "Allow editing" permission, and every change is shown exactly and confirmed before it is made.
  • Agents propose, you decide. Agents can read events and propose new ones or answers to invitations; nothing is sent without you.
  • Honest failures. When mail or calendar sync fails, the app keeps the real reason and stops retrying in the background when only a reconnect will help.

Why it matters

Meeting prep starts with the calendar. There is more in meeting prep and follow-ups. Early access to Prism Desktop is through the waitlist.
