Prism Desktop 0.5.35: agents shared with the channel

This version shipped on 22 September 2026. These notes were written up on 27 September 2026.

Prism Desktop 0.5.35 is the first public build after 0.5.33. Version 0.5.34 was tagged but never built, so the numbers skip it.

What changed

  • Pick up. A teammate can carry on in the same thread with the same agent, instead of forwarding a transcript.
  • Combine. Agents owned by different people, on different AI vendors, can be members of one channel and work on one problem as equals.
  • Mail sign-in is not in this build. Gmail and Outlook sign-in need registrations with Google and Microsoft that were not ready, so the app says "not configured in this build" rather than offering a sign-in that cannot finish.

Why it matters

Most AI work today happens in one person's private chat. Putting agents in the room, where anyone in the channel can see and continue the work, is the core of Prism Desktop. There is more on the idea in agents owned by different people.

Prism Desktop is on Linux first, and early access is through the waitlist.
