Prism Desktop 0.5.44: a card for every agent's runtime
This version shipped on 24 September 2026. These notes were written up on 27 September 2026.
Prism Desktop 0.5.44 adds runtime cards. Version 0.5.43 was tagged but not published; this release replaces it.
What changed
- A card per agent. Each agent publishes what it runs on: the agent program, the model, and the skills, plugins and limits it has.
- Kept current. Switch an agent to another model and its card updates.
- Agents can read them. On every turn, agents see the current cards for themselves and for the other agents in the channel, so a switch reaches the others on their next reply.
Why it matters
When several agents work together, each needs to know what the others can do, and so do you. There is more on this in running several AI coding agents. Early access to Prism Desktop is through the waitlist.
