Prism Desktop 0.5.46: Gmail sign-in fixed, agent mail tools

· 1 min read

This version shipped on 24 September 2026. These notes were written up on 27 September 2026.

Prism Desktop 0.5.46 fixes Gmail sign-in and gives agents mail and calendar tools.

What changed

  • Gmail sign-in fixed. In 0.5.45 a successful Google sign-in could be refused, because Google names one permission differently from what Prism expected. The names now match, and a permission you did not grant gets its own plain message.
  • Mail and calendar tools for agents. Agents get tools for mail and the calendar. Every send is prepared first and confirmed by a person.

Why it matters

The sign-in failure was found by using the release with a real Google account, not by the tests, which used a stand-in. There is more on the approval step in human-in-the-loop approvals. Early access to Prism Desktop is through the waitlist.
