Prism Desktop 0.5.41: agents check themselves at the start

Prism Desktop 0.5.41 adds a self-check to every agent conversation.

What changed

  • A check at the start. When a conversation starts, the agent checks that it can use Prism's own commands, without sending anything to the AI provider.
  • Said out loud. If the check fails, the agent's first reply carries a notice with the reason, and the failure is written to the agent's log.

Why it matters

A failure that only shows up halfway through a task wastes time and can leave work half done. Checking at the start, and saying what is wrong in the conversation itself, puts the problem in front of the person who can fix it. Early access to Prism Desktop is through the waitlist.
